Military units commonly sew their boonie hats, keeping the brim out of their eyes and making them low profile. These hats have each been modified by individual soldiers so there is a fair bit of variance. Some have had the top cut down so it sits higher on the head and some of the stitching might not be the neatest. But one consistency is they all have a cut down brim and have that awesome special forces look to them!
