Our 4-day, 3-night Eastern Sierra Basecamp is the perfect way to discover the magic of the Range of Light. On this multi day basecamp trip, we'll skin deep into the range and set a comfortable and sheltered camp that will allow us to explore far out objectives. After establishing camp, we'll choose from the multitude of objectives around camp that fit the desires and abilities of the group and the given conditions.
The 4-day format will give us days to do nothing but ski perfect corn, granite-walled couloirs, or both! Once we've set up our camp at the base of the peaks, we'll have two completely uninterrupted days to ski whichever lines suite our fancy based on the desires and skills of the team and the snow conditions present.
Our main venue for this program is Rock Creek. Rock Creek contains high peaks like Bear Creek Spire, Mt Dade and Mt Abbot and Treasure Peak and our ski objectives include the Cat Ears Couloir, Hourglass Couloir, Petit Griffon and Northeast Couloir of Mt Abbot.

- Snow Camping Experience. Basic experience with snow camping will make this trip much more enjoyable! If you're new to snow camping, we can work with you to make it happen, but getting out beforehand will certainly make the trip more comfortable.
